PAPERBOAT PROMISES

Heartbreaks, arcana of
life lessons, images with
grinning faces, leering
posthumously.

And yet, a blind compulsion
makes me pick at the remainders
of paperboat promises,
destined for drowning.

  1. loved all of it.. especially the title.. seems such a natural expression now of those innocent promises.. and quite like the use of 'kaagaz ki kasthi' in that soulful jagjit singh gazal..
