TROUBLE AND LOVE

Trouble stalks me
Finds me in a crowd
As if I were the only
Blue-eyed lion
In a pride.

I am a beacon on the shoals
Of disaster
Misfortune
Adversity
Catastrophe
Hardship.

I attract miscreants
Frauds
Outcasts
Reprobates
Scoundrels
And gnawing rats

I am the flame
You are the moth of Lucifer

You, my love,
Cannot resist.
